One more try to get the Triple Crown Races in this year. So far, rain is not in the forecast for this weekend. Marion and Warsaw will be hosting the last two races of the Triple Crown. Saturday in Warsaw and Sunday in Marion. Both tracks will be hosting double headers, with the first race each day being the Triple Header race and the second being a make up local race. Come on out and get 4 races in 2 stops.

Sat. Sept. 6, the Pro Am / KOG Race is back!!!!!!!!

Come out and see the fastest racers in the Mid West race for their share of the $1500 Pro Purse!! As well as the Older class will be in action competing for the bragging rights and some custom trophies. There will also be classes for everyone, with some old skool, big, trophies. So no matter the age or proficiency, come out for a fun filled day of racing.

The Hog Roast will be severed up after the racing is done. So do not miss a bite. Be there for all the excitement.

The Reschedule for the Rain Infested Triple Crown is in.

Hire Park will be hosting the second stop on Sept 13. There will be a double header, Only the first race will count toward the Triple Crown. The second race is a makeup race from earlier in the season.

Hogan Park (Marion) will hold the third stop on Sept 14. They will also hold a double header. With the first race being the last race of the Triple Crown and the second race being one of their rain dates.

Two stops, four great races. More BMX for your buck. Join us the weekend of Sept 13 & 14 for the conclusion of the Triple Crown and some great racing in Warsaw and Marion.

I want to thank everyone who came out to race the Hire Park Regional. We had a great time and an awesome event. And for the volunteers, you guys all rock the house. It was a team it was a effort and everyone really stepped up to the plate and made this race a total success.

I am talking with the photographer, Cyd, to get some more information about the pictures being available online. I will be posting something about how to see and purchase these pictures as soon as I get the word. Cyd and her crew took a lot of pictures, so keep checking to see when they will be posted.

The scheduled race for Thursday, June 26 has been canceled. This was posted as a Triple Crown Race. Due to the ability of the out of town riders, we are going to try and reschedule to a later date. There will still be an open practice. More information will be coming out soon. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Since we had to postpone the race on Saturday, May 3, we are having a double header at Hire Park on Saturday, May 10. Registration will go from 11:00 – 12:00 and race ASAP. The second race will start about 30 minutes after the first race is over.

We have also amped up the Bring-A-Buddy Program. If you get the most riders to sign up for a new membership, you will be in the running for a complete Kuwahara Bicycle, size is your choice and your choice of the race or jump bike. Plus you are still entered to win great prizes from the NBL from their drawing. More prizes to be announced later. How much easier can it get to win a free bike!! More info soon.

Hire Park is officially open!!!!!!! Practice Tuesday and Thursday 5 - 8 pm.

The first race of the season is scheduled to be on Saturday, May 3. We are hoping the weather holds out long enough to get the race in. If not, May 10 will be a double header.

The Bring-A-Buddy Program has been amped up at Hire Park. If you bring most buddies and they sign up with a full membership. You will be eligible to win a Complete Kuwahara Bike, size of your choice. This will go to the rider with the most new rider signups. More info to come.

Saturday, April 12 and 19, come out a give a hand on the spring cleaning and rebuild at Hire Park. Bring your shovels, rakes (lawn and garden) brooms or anything else you can think of to help get the track and spectator area’s cleaned back up from the brutal winter. We will be starting at 10:00 and ending when the work is done. We are quickly running out of time to get the track back into top shape for the Open House on April 26.

Former BMX Racer Steve Wallace of Anderson,Indiana used to race BMX in the early 80's but had to retire due to a nerve disorder called 'Dystonia' which affects his muscles and speech, he raced at NBL and ABA tracks. Wallace is still involved in BMX by promoting the sport anyway he can. March 26 is Wallace BMX Day. It is a day to get involved with your local track,get your bike ready for spring or racing, take your bike to your local bike shop for a tune up or simply go for a bike ride with your family.
