It is official, the 07 BMX season for Hire Park is over. The track is closed for the winter. We are already starting to plan the 08 season. Keep checking back for updates on what is going on at the track and what to expect for next season. Big Thanks to all the volinteers that helped out at all the races and practices all summer. As well as thanks to the riders and parents for supporting Hire Park. We are already looking forward to the 08 season opener!!

The end of the season is coming up FAST!!!
Hire Park will be hosting its annual Chili Race on Saturday, Oct 13. Along with the Race, we will be holding our year end banquet after the race. So come out for some awesome BMX racing and stick around for some fun awards and good fun to mark the end of a great season. If you are planning to stick around after the race, bring a side dish or desert. Or some of your best chili. Plan on an awesome day, on and off the track.

If you missed this race, you should be sad, unless you were getting married (inside joke there). A Big congratulations goes out to the web designer, Josh and his new wife on getting hitched.

The big race is in the books and fun was had by all. The weather held off until the awards were being handed out. The hog roast was awesome.

The next race at Hire Park will be a Double header. We had a rainout a couple of weeks ago, so it is time to make that race up.

We will be running on the regular schedule and adding a race right after the first one is over. We will take a small break between races. But be ready for a full day of race action!!

We are fast approaching the Pro Am / No Bull Race on Sept 8. This is the best and biggest race of the year for Hire Park. So come out and check out the action.

We will have classes for everyone. Want to line it up with the Big Dogs for some serous $$$. Or hit it up with the Old Dogs for some bragging rights and an awesome custom trophy. Maybe you are in-between and just want to race your age and proficiency. We have a class for everyone.

Along with the Hog Roast and all the Raffle prizes fun will be had by all.

The awards will be handed out at Hire Park BMX on September 8. This is the Pro Am / No Bull Race weekend. This is a GREAT day of racing and fun for all classes. You do not want to miss this race.

Sat. Aug 4 is the first stop of the Triple Crown at Hire Park BMX. On Sun Aug 5 we will be heading out to Marion with with the final race of the Triple Crown being help in Fort Wayne on Aug 11.

You do not want to miss this event. The race action is awsome. The awards at the end of the series rock.

BMX Stuff – Bike (In race ready condition) Helmet (No trail style helmets, please), long pants or shorts with leg guards, long sleeve shirt or racing jersey. Gloves, tools (Optional), NBL license. (You can get one at camp if you need to.)

Personal Stuff – No personal music systems with speakers, please. You might want to bring some sunscreen, sunglasses, a water bottle, a backpack to keep personal items in and any other items that you might normally take to the races for a day

Lets start with what has happened. Even with the rain and mud we had a great State Series race at Hire Park. The numbers were down a little from what we were hoping for. But, what we lacked in numbers we more that made up for in quality. Each class had some great races that went to the line.

Know, what is coming up. Wednesday June 6, the Hire Park Free Clinic will be held. The gates open at 5:00 and the clinic will start at 6:00.

Monday, June 11 - Stileman Clinic will be in full swing. If you want the opportunity to learn from someone that has been everywhere and really knows his BMX, than the Stileman clinic is for you. doors will open at 5:00 and the clinic will start at 6:00.


And later this month, June 25 - 27, the BMXmania Pro Camp will be hitting it hard at Hire Park. The counselors will be from the Kuwahara Factory Team. For more information check out BMXmania.com.

We will be having practice on Tuesday and Thursday from 5-8 pm (weather permitting) and the second race of the season on Saturday.

Saturday, April 28, Open House at Hire Park is FINALLY here. We have been very busy on the track getting it back to prime condition. Mother Nature has been watering it down for us and we are planning to have a GREAT time on Saturday.

Come out and join the fun. Everyone is invited to come out and get their ride on. Bring your friends and get them signed up. Do not forget about the Bring-A-Buddy Program the NBL is running. Bring your friends out and get signed up to win some pretty awesome prizes from the NBL.

Doors open at 11:30 and we will be running all day. So come out ready to get a full day of riding in.

Next work day will be held on April 21 at 9:00 am. We will be hitting it hard this weekend to get ready for the opening day on April 28. So come on out and give us a hand at the track. We will be working on the track and cleaning up the area around the track. The more we have helping the faster we get on to RIDE!!! So come on out and give us a hand.

Hire Park BMX is scheduled to start working on the track Saturday, April 14 at 9:00 am. We are going to be hitting it hard to get the track and grounds ready to start off another successful season in Warsaw, IN. We are looking for all the help we can get to get the track ready for the Open House on April 28. The more help we get, the faster the track will get done, which means we can start RIDING. To all the BMX riders and parents. The Indiana State Meeting will be held this weekend in Indianapolis. This is when we set up the 07 State Series. If you have an idea or opinion on how you think the state series should be run, let us know. This series is to crown the fast riders in the state. And it will qualify you for the 08 Presidents Cup, where you can race for Team Indiana.
